Before to committing to a life in Film, Karri Farris tested her skills through a variety of media outlets. But it was the yin yang of the film world that intrigued her. Allowing her to tickle her analytical side prepping shows and testing materials then plunging straight into her creative side once production starts is what kept her pursuing a career in film.

Currently in the process of relocating to Louisiana, it was in Michigan where she was given the opportunity to hone her skills and learn from the masters in the makeup field. Those mentors helped move her from Makeup Assistant to Makeup Department Head with each film budget over shadowing the last. It's her passion for makeup and dedication to learning her craft that keeps her moving forward. Her upbeat, silly nature keeps her clients coming back for more.

The ability to adapt to unconventional shooting conditions has allowed her commercial clients to rely on her time and time again to be a part of their teams.

Her skills range from male grooming to makeup effects and everything in between. Creating a perfectly sculped natural beauty look is one of her favorite things to see on the big screen.

To keep herself on her toes she likes to collaborate on photoshoots with photographers and designers to get her creative concepts out of her head and into print.
